In order to reserve the date and location for our clambake we need to be sure that we meet the 100 person minimum. We are asking all interested members to PLEASE ACT NOW and send in their checks for $50.00 so we can guarantee we meet the 100 person minimum and book our event.


IBEW Clambake Update; Location Changed

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This year’s clambake is on Saturday September 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. sharp It will be held at the Platzl Brauhaus, 127 Call Hollow Road, Pomona, NY 10970. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHANGE IN LOCATION FROM PREVIOUS YEARS.

Bus transportation will again be provided and the usual series of games will take place. Recreational facilities at the Platzl Brauhaus include: four softball fields, two swimming pools, miniature golf, volleyball, Bocci, shuffleboard and horseshoes. They also offer modern bathroom facilities with hot showers and clean changing rooms at the pool.

Unfortunately, there can be no door sales – this is a change from previous years and will be strictly enforced. Ticket price is $50.00. Minimum required attendance is 100 people so please respond quickly so we can be sure to secure the picnic grounds.

Again, due to no door sales and the fact we are now using a catering facility, it is imperative you send in your ticket request and check as quickly as possible.
